At 9 a.m. on the day of the event, all participants arrived at the hilltop lawn of Humen Hospital in high spirits. The activity consisted of two sessions: collective tree planting and a tree-donation nameplate hanging ceremony. During the tree-planting process, all participants worked in collaboration, carefully completing every procedure including digging pits, planting saplings, backfilling soil and watering. The entire scene was vibrant and well-organized. In the subsequent nameplate hanging session, representatives of each group hung custom nameplates on the newly planted trees, with names such as “Party Branch Love Tree” and “Doctor-Patient Unity Tree”, conveying sincere blessings for harmonious doctor-patient relationships.
After more than an hour of hard work, rows of newly planted saplings stood tall and upright, adding a fresh touch of green to the hospital campus. Symbolizing life, trees take root in the earth, grow towards the sun, and stand firm despite wind and rain. Every newly planted tree embodies the respect for life and faith in recovery shared by doctors and patients, as well as the encouragement and blessings delivered by medical staff to patients.
Upon the conclusion of the activity, participants hung nameplates on the donated trees and took group photos for memory. Both Party members and patients expressed that the activity allowed them to experience the joy of tree planting and feel the warmth and power of doctor-patient solidarity. A patient volunteer shared with emotion: “Planting trees together with doctors is a unique and meaningful experience. This activity brings me great warmth and strength.” A Party member doctor also stated: “Activities like this help us better understand patients’ needs and feelings, enabling more natural and smooth communication between doctors and patients.”
The themed tree-planting activity fully practiced the green development philosophy. Through joint labor, the estrangement between doctors and patients was eliminated, replaced by mutual understanding, trust and warmth.
In the future, based on the Party building co-construction mechanism, Dongguan Humen Aier Eye Hospital and Humen Hospital will further expand business cooperation, strive to provide higher-quality and more comprehensive medical services for patients, and promote the coordinated development of regional medical undertakings.
Meanwhile, the two hospitals will continue to carry out various public welfare activities to foster a more harmonious and positive doctor-patient relationship. United as one, medical staff and patients will move forward hand in hand to contribute to building harmonious hospitals and a harmonious society.
